Geranium sang.var striatum
Commonly known as Bloody cranesbill, this Geranium is compact and dense, making it ideal for edging. However, easy to grow, full of colour, this plant is versatile as it is valuable, use it for filling in, harmoniously merging plants together, even containers, what ever you choose to use this bushy ground cover for, you wont be dissapointed.
The foliage forms a tight mound of fine textured, mid green deeply cut leaves. From late spring and well into late summer, it will bear a profusion of upright cup shaped pale pink flowers, veined darker pink.
Like all Geraniums this is a wonderful choice attracting pollinators, especially bees. Awarded A.G.M and appreciating most soil conditions, providing they are not water logged, this plant will reward you by thriving all year round.
