Potentilla nepalensis 'Miss Willmott'
Unique salmon pink toned flowers with darker pink centres would be enough to make this plant sort after but combine this with its flowering longevity and its reliability, and it will prove to be irresistible. 40cm

Potentilla nepalensis 'Miss Willmott'

Potentilla n.Miss Willmott is a valuable plant in the perennial border. Flowering for weeks from late spring to early autumn, it is fully hardy and very durable making this very desirable in anyone's garden.

This Potentilla is a loose, clump forming perennial rather than one of the shrubby members of the family.  The red tinged, wiry stems bear strawberry like rich green leaves.  Loose cymes of saucer shaped,  salmon pink flowers flushed with yellow, and darker pink centres are borne. The unique pink tones will draw you over to give the plant a closer inspection, so is best planted at the front of your border to make sure it gets the attention it deserves.

Potentilla n.Miss Willmott will thrive in most soil conditions in full sun, attract bees, and is pest and disease free. A cut back after flowering will rejuvenate the attractive foliage
