Coreopsis verticillata Zagreb
Coreopsis v. Zagreb is an A.G.M. awarded plant which bears a profusion of starry golden yellow daisy-like flowers. These will grace you with their presence from late spring and with a mid- summer trim keep going until the autumn frosts. The flowers are held above a finely textured, and airy mound of attractive green leaves. Coreopsis Zagreb is more compact, and the flowers are a darker yellow than those of its close cousin C.v Moonbeam.
Tolerant of hot, dry sites once established but suited to most averagely fertile, free draining soils. Excellent for cutting, ideal for edging in a sunny border, or planting in containers, definitely a must have plant.
THIS PLANT CAN BE WINTER DORMANT IN AREAS THAT ARE PRONE TO FROSTS.
