Helianthus x multiflorus 'Loddon Gold'

If any plant epitomises the sun and a bright and uplifting colour in your garden, it is Helianthus Loddon Gold'. In fact, I think 'Bring me sunshine, bring me joy' expresses the sentiments this plant gives, to perfection.

It makes a clump up to 1.5m in height, with large rough, ovate, dark green leave and big fully-double flowers, which are an intense deep yellow.

Place towards the back of your border, where it will go unnoticed until summer when the impact of the golden flowers will lift your planting scheme and continue to do so through the early autumn as well.

It is a very easy care perennial when placed in its ideal sunny position and will thrive in most soils, as long as they do not lay wet for extended periods of time.

THIS PLANT IS WINTER DORMANT IN AREAS THAT ARE PRONE TO FROSTS.
