Lychnis flos-cuculi 'Jenny'
Lychnis flos-cuculi 'Jenny' is a stunning plant for the front of your border especially if you require a little wispiness. When in bloom this plant demands your attention, I recently took it to a sale, and people were picking them up to buy before I had unpacked!!
Clusters of finely cut, shaggy flowers in a clear pastel pink are held well aloft of the small clump forming green foliage, allowing you to see through to the plants beyond. Flowering starts in mid to late spring and carries on into summer. The second flush in autumn can be encouraged by a hard trim as the flowers fade.L. Jenny is a plant that can also be used to attract bees and butterflies to your garden.
Lychnis 'Jenny' is an easy, undemanding plant, given the right conditions of full sun to partial shade and preferably soils that do not dry out and she will thrive.
